Celebrate Art Tuesday, April 4th 10 AM until 2 PM Art and Ceramic Studios FREE Open studio and plein air painting. Plein air painting is about leaving the four walls of your studio behind and experiencing painting and drawing in the landscape. The practice goes back for centuries but was truly made into an art form by the French Impressionists. Artists are invited to set up in the sculpture garden and enjoy that day! Try your hand at wheel throwing and slab rolling in the ceramic studio. Artists will be on hand to guide you and offer assistance. Celebrate Theater Thursday, April 6th 7 PM Wright Auditorium FREE Songs from the Stage will feature local talent singing tunes from Broadway shows. PATRON’S CHOICE” EXHIBIT ....... The Week Long Celebration of the Arts is scheduled for April 2nd - 9th. The Colquitt County Arts Center invites you, our Patrons, to participate in our Patron's Choice Exhibit. Consider bringing up to 2 artworks from your private collection to include in the exhibit in the Vereen Gallery from April 7th, the night of the Patron Gala, until April 12th.
