An Evening with Janisse Ray

Writer, naturalist and activist Janisse Ray, author of "Drifting into Darien: A Personal and Natural History of the Altamaha River," will talk about her new book at the Moultrie-Colquitt County Library, 204 5th Street, SE, Moultrie, on Tuesday, November 8th, 6:30 p.m.  The free event is hosted by the Friends of the Library and the library's Novel Destinations Book Club.  Ray is the author of four books of literary nonfiction, including "Ecology of a Cracker Childhood," which was a New York Times Notable Book and chosen as the Book All Georgians Should Read.  Ray is a south Georgia writer, who lives on a sustainable farm with her husband, Raven Waters.
