Sustaining Wildlife with Native Plants

Beth Grant will be presenting Dr. Doug Tallamy's slideshow on his book Bringing Nature Home: How You Can Sustain Wildlife with Native Plants.  She will be presenting this program at the Moultrie-Colquitt County Library System on September 24th at 6:30 pm. The presentation is being sponsored by the library and the South West Georgia Conservancy. It is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase with all proceeds going to Birdsong. 

 Beth is a student naturalist form Thomasville, GA. She is the Founder and President of Friends of Lost Creek, which saved an old growth forest in Thomas Co., GA from destruction form industrial development. She has been active in conserving and volunteering at Wolf Creek Trout Lily Preserve in Grady County. For many years she has worked or volunteered at Birdsong Nature Center.
