Reaching Back: A Basic Genealogy Workshop

Have you ever wondered about your great-grandparents? Or have you wanted to work on your family history, but you had no idea how to get started? This session is for the beginning genealogist who wants to know how to get started and what to do when something is found. We?ll also explore local resources, including the wealth of material available at the Ellen Payne Odom Genealogy Library, as well as some online resources. Pre-register by Thursday, January 28. There is a $10 registration fee for the session. This fee will be returned at the time of class to those who attend. Those who do not show after reserving a place will NOT be refunded. There will be a five dollar fee for handouts. This is optional. The forms are helpful but not required for the class.
