Doerun May Day Festival –Things get started Friday evening May 3rd at 7pm with the Doerun BBQ cook-off competition of Brunswick Stew, along with the "Battle of the Bands" and Karaoke which will be open to the public. Saturday May 4th Festivities will kick off with the annual May Day Parade at 10am. Opening Ceremony for May Day in the Park will commence at 11am. Once May Day is officially underway, there will be Singing, Performances by Local Bands and Talent, BBQ judging, Games, Karaoke, Shopping, Food, Drinks, Snacks, and Fun activities for the kids. 10am May Day Parade
11am will be the opening prayer to start the “May Day Street Dance” Location this year will be in the park located at the corner of Peach Tree Street and Union Drive.
11am to 12 Noon will be the New Heaven's Echoes Gospel Group
12 Noon to 1pm Bean’s and String Students will be playing for your entertainment.
1pm to 2pm Sudden Impact Cloggers
2pm to 4pm Crossing 47 Band
4pm to 6pm the Battle of the Bands Winner from Friday Night
6pm to 8:30pm Caylee Anna Country line Band
8:30pm to 12 Midnight the Ben Wells Band.
