Without exaggerating, there are thousands of genealogy websites out there. These sites provide valuable tools, guides and access to databases that are overflowing with historic data. This session will explore a few good sites somewhat in depth and highlight a few others. We will explore Google as a tool for the genealogist. Basic computer skills are necessary. Join us on Saturday March 26, 9:45?12:30, as we explore how and where to search when using online resources and how to document the results. Library staff will lead the workshop. Emphasis will be on using resources available at no charge. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop for use during class. Contact the library to pre-register by Thursday, March 25. There is a $10 registration fee. This fee will be returned to those who attend the class.
