Event Description:
The Moultrie Library will host Dr. Dennis Blanton on Saturday, June 11 at 10:30 am. Dr. Blanton is an associate professor of anthropology at James Madison University. Previously, he was the curator of Native American archaeology at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. Dr. Blanton’s topic will be “Conquistador’s Wake: The Archaeological Search for Hernando de Soto in southern Georgia.”
